Spyros was admitted to the Athens Bar in 1993 with rights of audience in the Supreme Court.

Spyros’ practice focuses mainly on corporate, contract, trade and data protection law.

Experience

He has extensive experience advising a number of Greek and international companies regarding satellite transmission and distribution of television programmes as well as Video on Demand services worldwide, including drafting and negotiation of shareholders contracts, software development contracts, licenses for the exhibition of motion pictures, contracts regarding manufacture of decoders, development and purchase of conditional access systems, satellite platform contracts etc.

Spyros has advised a US consortium regarding a contract with Olympic Airlines, a German paper company contracting regarding its cooperation with a Greek company and has dealt with a number of cases recognizing and enforcing foreign judgments in Greece.

Since 2009 Spyros has cooperated with the subsidiary Greek office of an international company selling beverages and has participated in drafting the Company’s Code of Conduct with emphasis on data protection issues, reporting of relevant cases and representing the Company before the Greek Data Protection Authority.

Since 2017 Spyros has focused on advising a number of companies regarding their GDPR compliance as a Member of our GDPR team.
