Peggy was admitted to the Athens Bar in 2003 with rights of audience in the Court of Appeal.
Peggy’s practice focuses mainly on civil, commercial and administrative law.
Experience
During her career in law, Peggy has gained experience in various fields of law, with a particular emphasis on civil, commercial and public/administrative law, advising and representing both individuals as well as legal entities.
Specifically she has been involved in drafting and advising in relation to commercial and civil law contracts (such as franchise contracts, licenses, project assignments, trademark licenses, commercial representations, insurance brokerage contracts, agencies etc), she has dealt with national, EU and international trademark registrations, Protected Destination of Origin/Protected Geographical Indication (e.g. drafting PGI Regulations) as well as issues of the wider administrative sector (indicatively, expropriations / orders on behalf of ΔΕΗ, urban and environmental legislation, spatial planning and sustainable development, ΕΣΧΑΔΑ/ΕΣΧΑΣΕ, issues of licensing of ΑΠΕ projects), while since 2007 she has been systematically dealing with in the oil sector (issues of licenses for companies trading in petroleum products, establishment and operation of petrol stations, market legislation, competition). From 2016 to 2019, in the capacity of special associate to the General Secretariat of the Government, she has also actively been involved in the legal review of draft laws, presidential decrees, ministerial decisions and other regulatory acts of the public administration.
